Burlington Street Dam & Iowa River Improvement Study
OPEN HOUSE AND PUBLIC INPUT SESSION
On Monday, April 29th, the City of Iowa City will host a public meeting to present proposed improvements to the Burlington St. dam. Representatives from the McLaughlin Whitewater Design Group will be on hand to answer questions and to discuss how the proposed changes will improve public access, enhance the riverine habitat for fish and wildlife, and increase overall public safety.
This will be a great opportunity for folks to weigh in on a project that would dramatically improve the accessibility of the Iowa River in Iowa City!

- Where: Robert A. Lee Recreation Center (220 S. Gilbert Street)
- Who: Paddlers, anglers, river enthusiasts, and anyone else interested in how to improve the access, safety, and ecology of the Iowa River
