Sturgis Ferry to Hills Access

(9.5 miles of mud, sweat and tires — You in?)

Who: Paddlers of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Both canoe/kayak-based and land-based volunteers are needed.

What: A one day float down the Iowa River. Volunteers will be removing garbage and recyclables from the river and its banks.

When: October 6th, 2012. 7am (for paddlers) 9am (for land-lovers).

Need a canoe? A limited number of canoes, paddles and life jackets are available free of charge — canoe reservations must be completed by September 28th. (All other registration can be completed up to the day of the event.)
